Laughter Yoga was created by a medical doctor in Mumbai India in 1995. It works on the concept that the mind can’t tell the difference between real and simulated laughter so all we have to do is put the body into a physical state of laughter and then the mind will follow. Once it does it releases a cocktail of drugs that help to cure as well as heal a variety of conditions.
The reason that we need to do Laughter Yoga is because the laughter has to be sustained for a period of between 15 to 30 minutes and must come from the belly.
